Star Trek: Mesin Waktu Mr. Spock
Writer: Korrie Layun Rampan
Published Oct 1979
"Star Trek: Mesin Waktu Mr. Spock" (which translates to "Mr. Spock's Time Machine"). Published in Indonesia by Cypress as part of their Seri Tupai Emas (Golden Squirrel Series) around 1979, it is widely considered to be the very first Star Trek Little Golden Book format release.
The first Star Trek Little Golden Book was probably this edition published by Cypress in Indonesia. The book is an adaptation of Mr. Spock's Time Trek (View-Master B555). It looks like a straight up adaptation of the View-Master reels and booklet that goes with them. All 21 frames from three reels are reproduced, but a few frames are out of order, many are reversed, and one frame of the Enterprise is upside down. This book is probably unauthorized, but certainly unique. - by Mark Martinez
Two books from the popular "Who HQ" ("Who Was?") biography series, specifically focusing on these iconic Star Trek characters:
• What Is the Story of Captain Kirk? by M. D. Payne
• What Is the Story of Captain Picard? by David Stabler
